Superboys of Malegaon is Inspired by the 2008 documentary Supermen of Malegaon, it is based on the life of Nasir Shaikh and other amateur filmmakers in the small town of Malegaon. The film premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on 13 September 2024. It was theatrically released on 28 February 2025.
Plot
The journey of an aspiring filmmaker as he bands together his group of friends to make a film for his town, Malegaon.
